Krea raises new capital from investors such as the angel investor network ExM, Tomas Billing and FBTC Invest AB

Krea, Sweden's financing platform for businesses, recently closed a 7 million SEK funding round. The new round brings a select group of new shareholders, including ExM Investment Partners, a network of angel investors with a background from the consulting firm McKinsey & Company. With the newly raised capital, Krea will continue its growth journey in the lending markets in Sweden and Finland.
Krea continues to grow, having increased its revenue by 100% from 2021 until 2022, and has facilitated more than 1.7 billion SEK in financing volume. With the capital injection this autumn, the company will continue to develop its service; offering small and medium-sized enterprises improved access to capital and the opportunity to secure even better financing terms in the Swedish and Finnish credit markets.
ExM Investment Partners ("ExM") joins Krea as a new investor, and is an angel investor network whose founders have all held senior positions at McKinsey Company. ExM are active investors focused on supporting companies with high growth potential, a clear and proven business model, and a strong management team and organization.

In addition to ExM, several new investors participated in the same round. Among others, Tomas Billing, former CEO of Nordstjernan AB, Philip Tropp through the angel network FBTC Invest AB and Peter Lindström. Existing shareholders at Krea include owners such as Håkan Roos through Roosgruppen AB and Mariana Burenstam Linder.
